About me
I am an experienced and qualified Psychotherapist with qualifications in Adult Psychodynamic Therapy, Couples Counselling and Children,Young People and Family Counselling.
I came to the world of Therapy later in life, starting my Psychotherapeutic journey 25 years ago. I now believe that my life experiences before Psychotherapy & Counselling have served in helping me to become a more genuine and empathic Therapist.
An area of particular interest to me is the Psychology of attachment, early trauma, emotional regulation, neuroscience and the role of loss and how these may continue to impact upon the present.
We cannot change the past, but pain can be made easier to bear with a process of listening and understanding ourselves…
